Heidi and Nick’s wedding – at St Mary’s church Reigate and Hartsfield Manor – took place on a very cold and windy new year’s eve. Despite the weather (and Heidi’s dress), they braved many outside shots and had a fantastic day.
Gary has landed another Gold Award in the SWPP’s National Monthly Competition. This image of Louisa and Ed was taken at Clandon park, Surrey, earlier in November. The couple, who work in BBC TV Production, were thrilled with the image. This will go forward to the annual judging next month.
Cheryl and Kevin enjoyed a sunny autumnal day at All Saints Church, Witley and Farnham Castle (23 October).
This was the third successive week for me at Hartsfield Manor. I love the venue though; and Helen and Rory were another great, photography-loving couple. Some of the images look like they were taken on different days. But it was essentially a blustery, grey day, until the sunshine broke through an hour before sunset.
Anna and Mike enjoyed glorious sunshine on their wedding day, 26 September. They really enjoy their photography, and were a fantastic couple to work with.
Francesca and Alan’s wedding took place at Alexander House Hotel and Langshott Manor, Horley. A rare sunny, contrasty day this summer. Alan had an Audi R8 V10 for the day.
Siobhain and David’s wedding took place in rare summer sun on 25 July. I really enjoyed my first wedding shoot at Gate Street Barn.
Keira and David – who carried 2 lap dogs and describe their style as burlesque – enjoyed quite an unconventional wedding at the Savill Court Hotel. They were a great couple to photograph.
Yesterday I was delighted to win a number of awards at the Master Photographer Association’s Annual Competition (South East Region). The competition was judged by industry icon Dennis Hylander FMPA FBIPP. I was particularly pleased to win the title of MPA 3in1 Wedding Photographer of the Year 2009 because this award is based on consistency across a number of images within single weddings. In fact I came first and second in this category! I was also successful in the contemporary weddings category.
